27. Internal Disputes Within a Client

27.1 If we become aware of a dispute between individuals or groups involved in the ownership, control, or management of your organisation, please note that our client is the entity as a whole—not the individual shareholders, partners, members, or trustees (unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing).

27.2 In such circumstances, we will not act for, or take instructions from, any one party without the express and documented consent of all relevant parties. Unless all parties agree otherwise, we will continue to deliver services and supply information to the entity’s registered office or principal place of business, addressed to the attention of the appropriate governing body (e.g. board of directors, partnership, trustees, or equivalent).

27.3 Where we receive conflicting instructions, requests, or representations from different individuals or factions within the client entity, we will refer the matter back to the full governing body and take no further action until unified instructions are agreed. We reserve the right to suspend or cease acting altogether if the dispute materially impairs our ability to continue providing services or creates a conflict of interest.
